January 2026 - ABC Program Successfully Wraps Up Five Days of Learning and Industry Engagement

SolBridge International School of Business has once again demonstrated its leadership in experiential learning through the successful conclusion of the ABC Program 2026. This intensive five-day initiative provided students with a unique platform for executive-style consulting, industry exposure, and hands-on teamwork. February 2026 - SolBridge Hosts International Business Plan Competition (IBPC) 2025

SolBridge International School of Business proudly hosted the final round of 2025 International Business Plan Competition (IBPC), welcoming nine global teams for a week of academic rigor and industry collaboration. In partnership with Lake Materials, participants applied ESG frameworks to real-world corporate challenges, gaining direct exposure to strategic problem-solving and South Korea's business environment.

April 2025 – SolBridge Debate Society Wins KIDA Rookie Tournament Championship

The SolBridge Debate Society (SDS) was crowned champion of the 2025 KIDA Rookie Tournament after defeating Hanyang University in the Grand Finals. This victory included a prestigious “Best Final Speaker” award, showcasing SolBridge's excellence against top-tier institutions like SNU and Yonsei.

June 2025 – SolBridge and Babson College Conclude Young Founders Entrepreneurship Program

In Spring and Fall 2025, SolBridge International School of Business achieved significant milestones in its mission to foster entrepreneurial thinking among its students through a world-class entrepreneurship program. A standout success was the Young Founders Entrepreneurship Program, a collaborative initiative with Babson College (the world's #1 school for entrepreneurship). Through this immersive and focused journey spanning an entire semester, students from Woosong and SolBridge experienced and mastered the dynamics of entrepreneurship through Babson’s signature Entrepreneurial Thought & Action (ET&A) framework. They progressed through the complete entrepreneurial lifecycle, transitioning from initial idea generation to developing viable ventures and ultimately pitching to real-world investors.

September 2025 - Beta Gamma Sigma Highest Honors Chapter for the Second Consecutive Year

Beta Gamma Sigma: For the 2024–2025 academic year, the SolBridge Chapter was recognized as a “Highest Honors Chapter”, an honor reserved for the top tier of AACSB-accredited schools. This marks the second consecutive year of receiving this distinction, reflecting the consistent academic excellence and leadership of our students.

November 2025 – SolBridge Hosts EFMD Conference for EQUIS Accreditation

SolBridge successfully hosted an EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) conference at its Daejeon campus. The event gathered international academic leaders to support SolBridge’s ongoing EQUIS accreditation efforts, strengthening its network within the global higher education community.

March 2023 – SolBridge Debate Society Claims World Novice EFL Championship SolBridge Debate Society (SDS) has once again shown their excellence by winning the World Novice Debating Championship (WNDC) in the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) category.
SDS A, represented by Aikokul Abdivalieva, Nguyen Quoc Trung Duc, and Zhyldyzai Muratbekova, emerged as the tournament champions held on March 25-26, which featured novice debaters from various countries across the globe.

August 2022 – Beta Gamma Sigma Highest Honors Chapter

SolBridge International School of Business has been recognized by the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society as a school that has achieved highest honors for the year 2021-2022.

June 2022 – SolBridge joins Global Business School Network

SolBridge joined the Global Business School Network (GBSN), consisting of over 100 top business schools globally. May 2021– SolBridge Debate Society wins Korea National Championship

SolBridge Debate Society (SDS) represented by Houymean Lim, Jamoliddin Ergash-Zoda, and Sally Lee, has once again been crowned Korea’s champions after winning Spring 2021 Korea National Championships hosted by Seoul National University.

March 2021– SolBridge Crowned Champions Asian English Olympics 2021

SolBridge Debate Society has made us very proud to be crowned champions of the Asian English Olympics (AEO) in the debate division. This is a much-coveted win at the AEO hosted by BINUS University in Indonesia and attended by several prominent institutions in Asia. 

February 2021– SolBridge Alumnus Rustam Karimjonov Honored as 2021 AACSB Influential Leader

SolBridge alumnus Rustam Karimjonov is one of 25 business school graduates honored by AACSB International (AACSB) – the world's largest business education alliance - as the 2021 Class of Influential Leaders.

December 2020– SolBridge Professor Recieves Babson Collaborative Scholarship

Professor Shijith Kumar won a scholarship to the prestigious Babson Global Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators (SEE) at Babson College.

July 2020– SolBridge wins Top Prize at Global Online Negotiation Competition

SolBridge, represented by BBA students Houymean Lim and Jamoliddin Ergash-Zoda won the top prize at the NegotiateUP Global Online Negotiation Competition on Monday, 29th June 2020, under the best analysis/presentation category.

June 2020– SolBridge signs MOU with Daejeon Metropolitan Transit Corporation

As part of our continuing efforts to grow industry partnerships in Daejeon, SolBridge signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Daejeon Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation (DJET) on June 3, 2020.

November 2018 - SolBridge Wins its Second National Debate Championship

SolBridge Debate Society (SDS) won the 2018 Fall KIDA National Championships (KNC) held from 16th - 18th November 2018. The 23rd KNC (the oldest and most prestigious debating championship in Korea) was hosted by Ewha Womans University and was attended by 120 debaters representing the top universities from Korea.

May 2018 - SolBridge opens International Conference Center at Foreign Trade University

In a bid to strengthen the partnership between SolBridge International School of Business and Foreign Trade University (FTU), on 26th May 2018, SolBridge opened a conference room at FTU. The conference room will serve mainly as a classroom for FTU-SolBridge students under the 2+2 program studying two years at FTU and two years at SolBridge.

March 2018 - SolBridge team wins 3rd place at the Asia Student Venture Forum 2018

A team of SolBridge students won the 3rd prize at the Asia Students Venture Forum (ASVF) that was held last week from 30th March 2018 to 2nd April 2018 in Seoul. The contest is one of Asia’s top college students’ startup competition. The event was hosted by The Korea Economic Daily in collaboration with Ministry of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Startups.

October 2017 - 2017 Global Power Brand Award

SolBridge received the '2017 Global Power Brand Award.' Global Power Brand Awards (GPBA) which are supervised by Korea Broadcasting News Association and Sponsored by Ministry of SMEs and Startups was established for the recognition of companies, institutions, and organizations contributing to domestic economic development by increasing brand value in the global market and introducing international competitiveness of Korean brands.

February 2016- Innovations that Inspire AACSB

The AACSB Centennial Committee recognized SolBridge for its impressive commitment to engagement, innovation, and impact. One of the best 30 amongst 300+ submissions and 200 institutions from 35 countries worldwide. SolBridge won the category for “Connect - Outreach and Engagement”.

November 2015 – SolBridge Professor wins “Best Paper award for HR track” at the International Conference on Organization and Management

Professor Brock Stout won “Best Paper award for HR track” at the International Conference on Organization and Management, Asia Academy of Management sponsored conference. The conference had 12 tracks, so 12 papers out of 196 presented/300 submitted won awards

October 2015 Student wins Students' Research Competition Sponsored by Hyundai Motor KOPOMS (Seoul)

Two SolBridge students, Gi-Eyun Seo (BBA 3) and Moon-Jung Yoo (BBA 2), won the grand prize at “the 2015 Operation Management Case Study Competition” held at Dankuk University, supported by Hyundai Motor. They were also given with chances to participate in “the 2015 Informs” which had taken place in Philadelphia Marriott Hotel, USA.

November 2014- SolBridge Debating Society wins Korean Nationals Championship

July 2014 – SolBridge is awarded CK-1 Government Funding

SolBridge was named Outstanding School by the Korean Ministry of Education and was awarded $5.1 million USD under the CK-1 (Creative Korea) Project. The awarded funds have enabled SolBridge to make changes to its existing structure and build stronger foundations for future specializations in order to broaden student perspectives on their journey to becoming future global leaders. May 2014 – SolBridge receives AACSB accreditation

Due to the dedicated assistance of the entire faculty, staff and students, SolBridge gained full accreditation in the shortest time on record.
