SolBridge International School of Business hosted a Special Lecture by Mr. Dan Park, Co-Founder and CEO of Rovers Inc., on Wednesday, November 26th in Room 230. The session focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership, offering students valuable insights into the real-world challenges and rewards of starting a business.

Mr. Dan Park is an accomplished entrepreneur and global business leader with extensive experience in international sales, strategic operations, and business development. As CEO of Rovers Inc., an AI-driven IP commercialization company specializing in agricultural biotechnology, he leads the organization’s global growth and partnerships. His previous experience includes leadership roles in the agri-tech industry and international trade, as well as service as a Sergeant in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, shaping his resilience and leadership approach.

The lecture highlighted the key stages of building a startup—from validating ideas and developing prototypes to navigating funding challenges and early-stage uncertainty. Mr. Park emphasized the importance of pivoting when business models require change, scaling operations while adapting leadership styles, and maintaining vision, resilience, and sound decision-making as a CEO throughout the entrepreneurial journey.

Students gained practical knowledge on raising capital, managing teams, and expanding businesses across borders while dealing with regulations and intellectual property concerns. The interactive Q&A allowed participants to ask questions and receive firsthand advice on entrepreneurship and innovation.
