Daejeon Metropolitan City, the host of World Technopolis Association (WTA), presents an international conference paralleled with the 6th WTA Hi-tech Fair (12-16 October) that concentrates on technology convergence toward green growth.
This conference provides an opportunity to discuss current issues and problems being faced by special agenda on low carbon and green growth so as to meet climate change. In particular, WTA emphasize the regional innovation and environment management in science city. Nowadays, climate change is in full swing and represents one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats facing the planet. Recognizing the impact on climate change caused by local businesses, we selected the green technology & business ideology for environment management as a special agenda; e.g. a secure, reliable and affordable energy supply, healthy lifestyles and responsible business practices in WTA member cities.
