The English Language Center provides courses to help those non-native English speakers to improve their spoken and written English communication skills. Programs ranging from a single course up to an intensive 25 hours per week are available to help students. Language laboratories which include interactive activities make language learning enjoyable and successful.

The English Language Center operates to assist those students who were accepted conditionally based on lower than required English Proficiency scores. Due to Korean immigration policy, students may not acquire a visa for studying English language only. Students must be registered as full-time students. Students studying English for one or two semesters will be granted credit for their studies. If a student is unable to acquire sufficient English proficiency by the end of the first full year of study, s/he will be dismissed from the University and must return to their home country.
