SolBridge 2009 Fall Semester Commencement

SolBridge International School of Business graduated four MBA students for the Fall 2009 semester on December 11th at a ceremony held in the school’s auditorium. Ms Zhongling Hong (China), Mr. Nawaz Faisal (Pakistan), Mr. Choudhary Qaisal Aslam (Pakistan) and Mr. Acharya Ramchandra (Nepal) comprised the second cohort of SolBridge MBA graduates for the 2009 academic year. These new alumni bring the total number of MBA graduates to eight since the opening of the institution in 2007.

Arirang TV visits SolBridge and films students

A five-member team from Arirang TV, Korea’s English language Television program visited SolBridge to find out for themselves what all the excitement is about at SolBridge.

SolBridge Students Publish first issue of Sol-News.

On 9 June 2009, SolBridge published its first copy of SOL-NEWS under the guidance of Dr. Marcellino, Editor in Chief. The twelve page newsletter will be published initially on a quarterly basis. All articles and news research are conducted and written by students with the intention of bringing the latest information to students, partner schools and collaborators of SolBridge.

SolBridge Students visit Floritopia

The entire student body, faculty and staff of SolBridge took a day off from classes to visit Floritopia, a flower festival held once every four years on the Island of Anmyeondo, located on the Southern part of Chungcheong Province of S. Korea. Students were treated to an extraordinarily great number of fabulous flowers, not only from Korea, but also from more than 20 countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Student Internships

SolBridge offers interships at venture companies and major Korean firms for its students that involve strategic planning, creative thinking and engagement with both local and international counterparts.

SolBridge Opens Door to Korean Students

SolBridge International School of Business, an international school set up by Woosong University, will open its doors to Korean students from March.

Daejeon Technology Research Foundations

MBA students from SolBridge visited local companies to see firsthand what impact the high-tech firms in Daejeon have on the Korean, Asian, and Global Economy.
