Sol-Geo is the main residence for SolBridge students. It is situated on WooSong University’s East Campus which is a twenty-five minute walk or a ten minute bus ride from SolBridge. Students are provided with a free shuttle bus which goes between Sol-Geo and SolBridge several times during school hours. Besides a shuttle bus there are public buses, taxis and a nearby subway (fifteen-minute walk) to help students get around Daejeon.
Built in 2010, the residence is new, clean, safe and very modern. Students have access to Wi-Fi, study rooms, dance hall and a student library for them to use while in residence. Safety is another important concern and Sol-Geo has a 24 hour security service to provide students a safe environment in which they can live, learn and have fun. Sol-Geo also has two cafeterias; one serves Korean and special dishes while the other serves food for Muslim students. The residence is also close to many restaurants and coffee shops which cater to university students. Finally, there is a common kitchen which students can use to prepare their own food if they wish. Sorry, no cooking in your rooms.
Sol-Geo is divided into male and female residences and there are no Co-ed residences. Students will typically live with one other student in one of the 271 double rooms at Sol-Geo. There are also 4 triple rooms and 7 quadruple rooms. For female students only, there are 18 single rooms. Most rooms have an in-room bathroom; however, some sites have a common bathroom. Coin operated laundry machines are available for students in the residence, and there are some inexpensive dry cleaners nearby the residence.
