Students at SolBridge can make use of the resources of SolBridge Library and several branch libraries located on Woosong University campus.

The current holding of SolBridge Library is over 7,300 volumes and includes books, e-books and periodicals on management, finance, economics, marketing, IT and other business related disciplines. In addition, reference and general-interest materials are available including leading foreign business periodicals and multilingual dictionaries.

Library materials are classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System. Students can consult books which are mainly in English. There is a separate section on Korean books covering a wide range of topics.

Book Loan Policy

Membership to the library is available to all students, faculty and staff of SolBridge.

Online Resources

Students and faculty can access several online resources including full-text research databases covering a number of journals and e-books. Currently SolBridge Library subscribes to the following online resources which can be accessed from Blackboard (http://blackboard.solbridge.ac.kr/).

E-Databases: ABI/Inform, EbscoHost, ScienceDirect, JStor, Emerald and Lexis-Nexis

E-Books: Cambridge e-books collection, Wiley-Blackwell online books

New online resources are added periodically to meet the academic needs of SolBridge students and faculty.

Peter F. Drucker Collection

The library recently added a new section to its holdings. It received a donation from the Peter Drucker Society of Korea. This collection is set to grow as more related material will be added in the future in languages besides English, such as Korean, Japanese and Chinese.

Facilities

The students can avail printer and photocopier facilities at the library and book café using a cash card which can be purchased from Student Services.

Scanner: A scanner located within the library premises, is available free of charge for library patrons.

Photocopier: A card-operated photocopy machine is located within the Library.  All library patrons are expected to comply with the applicable copyright laws of the Republic of Korea.

Study Space: Quiet study areas amenable for reading are available within the library.

Audio Visual Resources: The Library has a growing collection of DVDs and CDs.  DVDs can be viewed only within the Library and Book Café.  Use of video conferencing facilities and equipment can be arranged through the librarians.

Book Café: Sixteen computers equipped with high-speed internet access are available for student usage on a first-come, first-served basis.

Staff

The library is staffed by two professional librarians who are available to assist students and faculty find information and make the best use of bibliographic and research resources.
