The SolBridge International School of Business, located in Korea's Silicon Valley, is the only English medium school of management in Asia today with 100% international faculty. It is in its second year of operation and currently offers degree programs for BBA and MBA featuring American style international curricula, with a strong focus on Asia and an excellent balance of theory and practical experience. SolBridge currently has a student body of 250 from 20 countries in Asia, Africa, and North America. Administrative Position
- Primary Responsibilities:
As a member of the Admissions staff, this individual will take a leading role in planning and scheduling of events associated with the recruitment of international students. The individual will take the lead in targeting and recruiting high-quality students and provide personalized attention and communication with prospects. The Regional Manger is supervised by the Director of Admissions.
- Minimum Qualifications:
A Master's degree and at least two years of work experience in an educational or corporate setting involved in the following activities: recruiting, sales, marketing, public relations, or training. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required. A desire to remain in a career within higher education administration and/or experience working with and making presentations to students and/or high-level professionals in a business or educational environment would be an asset. The ability to participate effectively in an English language work environment is essential. Ability to communicate in any other Asian languages is desirable.
- The following describes the duties expected of a Regional Manager:
- Takes the lead in development and making of presentations for a diverse group of prospective students who attend events or work with education consultants.
- Provides guidance and direction to Regional Coordinators. Works closely with other Regional Managers and supervisor to achieve targets and goals set forth.
- Serves as enrollment Coordinator for accepted students and helps to organize on-campus and off-campus recruitment events, including receptions, open house and yield events.
- Leads and manages Internet and other research about institutions, prospective consultants, and the gathering of additional information - to enable informed decisions regarding the feasibility and effectiveness of prospective recruiting related efforts.
- Oversees preparations for international field trips by following the Step-by-step Marketing plan and works with Coordinators to ensure they do the same.
- Participates and leads in international field trips as necessary--- it is likely that 5-10 international trips of 1-2 weeks duration will be required annually.
- Ensures student contact information is collected at recruitment events and oversees the entry of these data into the International Relations Student Recruitment database.
- Manages and conducts student follow-up after a recruiting event to encourage students to consider SolBridge as an education choice.
- Provides to the Director of Admissions timely reports during and at the conclusion of each field visit as specified
