Scholarships

Each student must compete with other students for available scholarships. A competitive scholarship shall be awarded for the purpose of encouraging academic excellence. In order to comply with this requirement, the guidelines as described in the following sections are established.

Eligibility: Students must be admitted to SolBridge without condition, as a regular student. They must have met the Standard English proficiency criteria and demonstrated exceptional academic performance in their last academic experience.
Conditions: A copy of an acceptable English proficiency test score must be included in the application for admission.
Amount: Successful applicants may normally receive a tuition grant equal in amount from 10 – 80% of the annual tuition fee.
Award Date: Applicants who have been awarded a scholarship will be informed at the same time they receive their Letter of Acceptanc


Scholarship awards are made for a one-year period. Students who wish to reapply for a scholarship for subsequent periods may do so prior to the conclusion of the second semester of the award period. Continuing awards will be made providing the student maintain the academic requirements set by the Scholarship Committee. Award recipients who do not maintain the required academic standing each semester of the award year may not be permitted to reapply for subsequent periods.

First year student Scholarships

To qualify for a scholarship for the academic year, the student must meet the minimum academic qualifications and demonstrate sufficient funds for non-tuition fees including cost of living, personal expenses, travel expenses, books, etc. It is expected that each student should be able to contribute toward their tuition costs as very few full-tuition scholarships are granted.
