SolBridge offers, first and foremost, an English-only medium of instruction, and also recognizes the benefit of understanding the cultures and languages of East Asia – the fastest-growing marketing in the world and the economy of the 21st Century.
As such, SolBridge requires students to study at least one Asian language for the duration of their study at SolBridge. Students study either Chinese, Japanese or Korean which is included within the core tuition costs. The Asian-language program is designed to ensure high levels of reading, writing and listening skills. The focus of the language program falls on language used in business, thereby further adding to the value students can expect from SolBridge. Future leaders recognize the necessity of a broad understanding of different cultures and languages and their influence on business.
Our broad-based core curriculum has been carefully designed to introduce students to fundamental principles of business to enable them to pursue further studies in their elective fields. All SolBridge learning programs are designed with the unique purpose of ensuring that students not only learn the latest theory, but are also empowered to tackle real-world issues and problems hands-on. Students who leave SolBridge will have a global perspective with an Asian focus.
The student body itself is diverse, representing countries such as
Bangladesh,
China, Gambia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. And the list is
growing. SolBridge is therefore a microcosm of the global business
arena, preparing students for the challenges of operating in a diverse
world.
