Course Screening

  • PDF

Course ScreeningAll BBA students may expect some pre-study screening to ensure they are fully qualified to enroll in certain English and math courses. The screening will consist of the following:

  • Any student without a TOEFL or IELTS test score will be tested to determine whether students will enroll in BBA remedial courses or directly to the regular BBA courses. CET or TOEIC are acceptable for admission but require additional testing for the academic side of course selections.
  • All students will be given a short, timed writing test. SolBridge has three writing courses in the BBA curriculum and students will enroll in the one appropriate as indicated by the writing test. Remedial, regular, and Honors writing courses are available.
  • If a student needs to enroll in a remedial, non-credit reading, writing or speaking course (based on English proficiency test results), they may enroll in regular BBA courses once the course has been successfully completed.
  • All students will be given a short mathematics test to determine whether they may enroll in remedial, regular or honors math courses. Regular BBA math courses may be enrolled in after completion of remedial math, if required.
