Central Asia Research Program
The immerging economic power of Central Asia places it at the heart of the world economy. Nevertheless, the region and its remarkable nations remain poorly understood internationally and insufficiently integrated into the global business community.

The mineral and natural resources of the nations of Central Asia: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Afghanistan and Pakistan are attracting growing attention from all parts, but at the same time, these nations do not have a sufficient profile internationally, and the business and policy communities of these nations have not been sufficiently brought into the larger discourse on the future of Asia. The Central Asia Research Program at the Asia Institute is part of our Asian management focus, a program that provides practical advice about business and society in Central Asia to businessmen and students of the SolBridge International School of Business. We organize seminars and research projects with companies and research institutions throughout Korea and East Asia.
